Every design decision has the potential to include or exclude. Inclusive design emphasizes the understanding of individual diversity. Inclusive design tries to create so that everyone can use them safely, easily, and with dignity.

Today’s products are designed with stereotypical and overly feminine forms, color palettes, and graphics. Consumer’s today care about having products that represent themselves and dislike products that contribute to harmful stereotypes and gender roles.
-
Product packaging in general is becoming less gendered, but cleaning product packaging needs to be reimagined. Through my research I found three important points to consider during my process. Users want less gender-focused color palettes. Users want more universal packaging shapes and forms. Users want minimalism to avoid stereotypes.
Stereotypical and overly feminine.
